Redskins Injury Report update for Week 11

The Washington Redskins face the Houston Texans in Week 11.  The Redskins defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16-3 to improve to 6-3 and grow two a 2 game lead in the NFC East.  The Redskins have been hobbled by injury and devastated by injury offensively.  Here is the latest on the injuries for Week 11.

The Good Injury News:

Pro Bowl LT Trent Williams has been upgraded to Questionable for this week.  As battered as the Redskins offensive line is, with All Pro RG Brandon Scherff and LF Shaun Lauvao out for the season, Williams reentry back to the offensive line would be a huge boost.  The make shift line played a solid game last week, but getting Williams back on QB Alex Smith’s blindside would be a very welcome addition.    I would not count on Williams playing this week, but the upgrade of his status is certainly encouraging.

The Same Injury News:

RB Samaje Perine, WR Jamison Crowder, and RB Chris Thompson will all remain out.  The loss of Crowder and Thompson, two keys to the offense, has certainly impact Washington’s passing game.  Two other key players that did not practice as of today are CB Quinton Dunbar and K Dustin Hopkins.   The Redskins will try and work out Hopkins today, but could end up signing another kicker.  They worked out five kickers this week.  That would hurt Washington.  Hopkins is having a great year, hitting 17 of 19 field goals and remains perfect on extra points.
