Nats blow three run lead, fall to Brewers

The Nationals started out strong, vying for a three game weekend series sweep, of the Milwaukee Brewers. Unfortunately, they did not finish as strong. Ross Ohlendorf to the DL

The Washington Nationals have placed P Ross Ohlendorf on the disabled list.   Ohlendorf was sore after his last quality start and threw just 11 pitches in his last outing when he relieved Gio Gonzalez. Ohlendorf was removed after 11 pitches because of continued concerns about the velocity of his witches.  He was placed on the 15 day DL.  Replacing Ohlendorf is veteran reliever Xavier Cedeno.  Cedeno has hour up decent numbers at AAA Syracuse….

The Washington Nationals went into Miller Park last night and won their second in a row over the Milwaukee Brewers behind solid pitching, with Dan Haren producing his second straight strong start to lead the Nats to a 3-0 win.
