The Washington Redskins host the Green Bay Packers, Sunday afternoon at Fed Ex Field. The Redskins enter Week 3 with the top defense in the NFL. Washington’s defense ranks first in yards per game (247.0) while giving up an average of 161.0 passing yards per game for the league’s best in the category.

Much like the first two weeks, a very limited footprint for our game. (Red on the map.) Fox has the doubleheader, with Dallas @ Seattle the national game at 4 PM. (with the exception of the Chicago and Phoenix markets). Denver @ Baltimore is our 1 PM game on CBS.

The Green Bay Packers enter this weekend with a 1-0-1 record, with an opening win over the Chicago Bears and a tie against the Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay is led by head coach Mike McCarthy, who was hired in 2006, and is the longest tenured head coach in the NFC.

Two time NFL MVP and Super Bowl champion Aaron Rodgers leads the way at quarterback for the Packers. Rodgers has begun the season well, going 50-for-72 for 567 yards, 4 touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Coming off of a strong rookie season, running back Jamaal Williams returns to the lead the rushing attack of the Packers. Williams has 106 yards on 31 attempts this season.

The Packers own a dynamic duo at wide receiver, with veterans Randall Cobb and Davante Adams leading the way. Cobb has recorded 13 receptions for 172 yards and 1 touchdowns, while Adams has supplied 13 receptions for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns this season.

Joining the Packers at tight end this season is five-time Pro Bowler and eight year veteran Jimmy Graham. After sluggish opener, Graham recorded six catches for 95 yards in the tie against the Vikings.

Veteran linebackers Clay Matthews and Nick Perry return to patrol the middle of the field for Green Bay. Matthews has recorded four tackles in two games, while Perry has tallied seven tackles, one sack and a forced fumble.

Tramon Williams joins Green Bay in the offseason and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix returns to lead a potent defensive back corps. Williams has recorded 11 tackles in two game, while Clinton-Dix has secured 10 tackles and an interception.

Kicker Mason Crosby returns for his 12th professional season, all of which have been in Green Bay. Crosby is 6-for-7 in field goals this season, including a long of 48 yards. Crosby is a career 80.4% in field goals and owns a career long of 58 yards.
