The Redskins and Vikings meet for the 20th time, Sunday afternoon at Fed Ex Field. Minnesota leads the series 10-9, including four of the last five meetings. Vikings Head Coach is 1-0 vs the Redskins, while Washington’s Jay Gruden is 0-1.

The Minnesota Vikings enter Week 10 with a 5-3 record and a first-place rank in the NFC North this season. The Vikings ended their 2015 campaign with an 11-5 record and an NFC North title. This is the Vikings’ third season under Head Coach Mike Zimmer. Minnesota is coming off of a 22-16 overtime loss to Detroit in Week 9.

Quarterback Sam Bradford entered the NFL with the St. Louis Rams as the No. 1 overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft. He earned the starting role in Minnesota after being traded to the Vikings from the Eagles following an injury to quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. In his first season with Minnesota, Bradford has completed 166-of-243 pass attempts (68.3 percent) for 1,715 yards and nine touchdowns.

Running back Jerick McKinnon leads the Vikings in rushing attempts (75), recording 225 rushing yards and one touchdown. Matt Asiata has posted a team-high 227 yards and two touchdowns on 71 carries.

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs is in his second season with the Vikings and leads the receiving corps with 48 receptions for 546 yards with two touchdowns this season. Tight end Kyle Rudolph has added 32 receptions for 323 yards and four touchdowns.

Safety Harrison Smith leads the Vikings in tackles. Smith has recorded 56 tackles (42 solo), followed by linebacker Eric Kendricks with 54 tackles (36 solo). Defensive end Everson Griffen leads the defense in sacks with six. Kicker Blair Walsh has made 12-of-16 field goal attempts on the season (75.0 percent) after converting 34-for-39 field goals (87.2 percent) last season. Punter Jeff Locke has averaged 43.2 yards per punt on 43 punts this season.

Punt returner Marcus Sherels has returned 14 punts for 192 yards with two touchdowns. Cordarelle Patterson has returned 12 kickoffs for 332 yards.
